For all of us Minecraft lovers we now have another platform we can play on. Notch Microsoft announced at the 2011 E3 conference that Minecraft for Xbox will be coming out. Lucky MineCon attendees were able to play the Minecraft Xbox edition pre-release.
The Minecraft for Xbox version is similar to the PC version. Minecraft players are able to build using blocks. An added bonus is that the players will be be able use the Xbox Kinect functionality to assist in your game play.
The Xbox version is different in that when you are crafting you don’t place items into grids. It is setup so you choose what item you want to craft and after that you will be shown what blocks you will need and what blocks you have.
