Hey all you Minecrafters! The Minecraft 1.2 pre-release is here and I have had a chance to play around with it some. I wanted to share with you some of the cool things it has.
It allows you to make upside down stairs. You can’t walk upside down on them, they are simply for looks, so are pretty useless. There is a new mob called the Iron Golem. They walk around and drop red roses. They pick up hostile mobs and spawn in villages or you can create them out of iron. There are changes to the world and the lighting system. This release also includes new seeds. One of the seeds has a ton of mountains, pumpkins, a large jungle biome, a snow biome, and underground caves and ravines.
