How to Grow Giant Mushrooms in Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition
One of the cool new added items we have seen from the 1.8.2 Adventure update for Minecraft: 360 Edition are giant mushrooms. This is not an item that 4J Studios played up or even mentioned during the lead up to this update, but they are cool none the less. This item was discovered by users late this week and below we will tell you exactly what you can do with these interesting new items.
How to Make a Giant Mushroom;
- Either place or fins a block of dirt, mycelium or grass.
- Place a brown or red mushroom on this block.
- Then equip Bone Meal and use the left trigger to hit your mushroom with it.
- There you go! A crazy giant mushroom!
The beauty of growing giant mushrooms is that this method is much more effective and efficient than building an entire mushroom farm. Each and every giant mushroom will drop between two and twenty five little mushrooms and you can then use the smaller ones to make mushroom soup.
The giant red mushrooms also can be utilized as a fast and easy shelter if you put them under overhangs and brown ones can be used as easily accessed platforms to use when you need to make a quick getaway from mobs such as creepers or zombies.
