BioSpheres Mod Review

Hello again, MrFranksnten here.

Firstly, make sure that you have Biospheres selected as the world type, otherwise the Spheres will NOT generate.

This time, I have a fun mod called BioSpheres. This mod, as the name suggests, adds a new world type that spawns glass spheres of various sizes instead of normal biomes. I believe that these spheres contain every biome in Minecraft, although I couldn’t find the snow biome.  Even the Mycelin biome will spawn, and Mooshrooms will spawn inside this biome. Sadly, this was my first encounter with a Mooshroom, and this new biome, and I haven’t found one since.

These spheres are connected to each other via wooden walkways, accessible from opening in the glass. Occasionally,  there will be small stone spheres near these board walks, floating high up. These new spheres your only source of diamonds and Lapis lazuli blocks in this mod, so be careful not to lose any.

Every now and then, you will see obsidian patches on the outside of the bottom of these spheres. These patches are where Lava has collided with the edge, and the obsidian stops it falling into the void.

I am nearly certain that none of you will be this silly, but just to see what happened I swapped the modded .jar file with a vanilla one. I was surprised. Once the information for this mod is removed, the chunks will load as per usual, and over time the BioSpheres will deteriorate, ending up strange and patchy. I had a desert biome connected to an ocean one, with no border, once I removed the BioSpheres jar.

This mod is for the adventurous ones, or those who like finding more biomes.
